“Ivy said you have a boyfriend“, Maya said. 

I didn’t answer her. I opened the gallery and pulled up the picture. I handed the phone to 

Miles. 

“Sweet mother of God, now this is a specimen. Bitch you hit it big time. What I wouldn’t do to get one like this on top of me. Why don’t you give me his number“, he said. 

“Eww. Miles“, 

He started laughing.Ivy Leaned over to see, and he powered off the phone and put it into my bag. He just smiled. 

“I need to head back to the dorms. Tomorrow is Sunday I need to study I have an Exam on Monday“, I stood up and grabbed my bag. 

“Okay. Miles will drop you off. You don’t need to work tomorrow. Come in on Monday“, 

Darla said. 

“Oh, Miles could you give me a ride too“, Ivy asked standing up also. 

When we got back to the dorm, Ivy was quiet. As I was getting into bed. The phone rang and she turned instantly. I answered. 

“What. Fine“, I ended the call and went to sleep. 

I was woken up to my phone vibrating. I checked the message. All it said was to go down. I dragged myself out of bed and headed down to the gates. The same tall man was standing by the gate with a car. He came over to me and handed me the keys. I looked at him, then the keys, then at the car. It was a BMW. 

The phone rang, which startled me, I answered. 

SKYLAR: yes 

ASHER: it’s yours already in your name. be careful 

He ended the call. I just shook my head, The man left me standing there. AT the same

Chapter 9 

time Ivy was leaving, and she saw me. She stopped and looked at me. more specifically the car keys in my hands then she walked away. I headed back up to my room and began studying. 

Since the day Ivy saw me with the car, she’s been cold. When I showed up at work Miles saw me and began Fanning himself. He was happy for me. He said he needed a sugar daddy that didn’t need sugar, which caused us to laugh uncontrollably. Asher called me but I ignored him. I told him I had to study and he left me alone. I guess he wasn’t willing to fuck with my studies. 

It was the second week when I heard it. Brett had an accident, and he was in the hospital. His arms and legs were broken, and I was horrified. That man was insane. I texted him and he replied saying. ‘Brett shouldn’t have touched what was his‘, and I was terrified because what sort of person just does something like that. I noticed other students. staring and looking at me weirdly. I ignored it. 

The third week I noticed my stuff would move and some of my clothes were missing. My shampoo, lotions, perfumes and stuff like that. Ivy stopped talking to me all together even at work. I didn’t care. One day last week I almost had a heart attack. I was leaving work when I received a notification. When I checked it, 

I saw a deposit was made. Two million dollars was deposited into my account, my knees went weak, luckily Miles caught me in time. I called Asher but he didn’t answer. He replied with a message saying. “Just accept it“. Kira was at the club a lot now and so was Freya and Celeste. Two of the sterling family members. I stayed far away from the private dining room the idiot Sterling uses. I haven’t spoken to the demon Asher in two weeks. I told him clearly that I had to study, and I wanted to be left alone to focus on my exams. 

A few days ago, the entire Havenwood was embroiled in drama. Dorian Sterling publicly broke off his engagement and apparently that was scandalous enough for everyone because that was all they talked about. Some people were speculating that he had someone else, but people said Emelda would never let that happen. I wasn’t too interested in their problems. It was just annoying to hear people talk about it nonstop. 

As I was leaving classes one afternoon I saw the Dean walking towards me. 

“Ms. Raines please follow me“, he said walking back into the now empty classroom. I followed him and stood there waiting for him. As he was closing the door, I saw Ivy Walk 

past and she was smirking
