“I think she’s going to need some stiches“, Miles said handing me a towel. The door opened and the idiot walked in.

“Is she fine“? he asked, looking at Darla, or I think he was. You never could tell who he was looking at because of the sunglasses he wore. He was always wearing them night and Day. The door opened again, and Kira walked in.

“Is everything okay“? she asked, looking at me. Then at Dorian.

“Yes. Just a small cut nothing to be worried about“, I was lying, it was hurting more than I

let on. He walked out without a word. But Kira stood there looking at me.

“Darla Does Dorian come here often“? She asked

“Not more than the usual Ms. Edwards“, Darla said

“I see and who Serves him and his guests“, She asked. Oh shit, she was fishing for information. I was his regular server.

“I tend to Mr. Sterling personally. I know he is peculiar about service, so I take care of him and his guest personally that is an order from Mr. Oswald“, Darla said lying through

her teeth and I knew she was trying to protect me.

“I see. Well, have a good evening. And once again I’m sorry about earlier” she said walking out of the kitchen, Miles and Darla were looking at each other and I saw the look

that passed between them.

“Miles Get her to the hospital. I’ll meet you there“, Darla said

Miles hurriedly got me out and into the car and we left. On the way there my phone

began ringing. It was the demon. I answered.

“What“?,

“Who is he“? he asked, and I knew he was talking about Miles.

“FUCK YOU ASHOLE“, I said ending the call and throwing the phone out of the car. Miles

just looked at me.

“I’ll explain it later now, Spill it Miles“.

“Shit… okay. Kira and Dorian are engaged. Kira was away for the past two years, and she just returned. We always have vacancies because of Emelda and Kira. My aunt lied because anyone that looks better than Kira shouldn’t be around Dorian, if a woman is in his presence for more than ten minutes then they become a threat. The last server that looked after Dorian she….” He stopped

“She what“?

“She went Missing Sky and to this day she hasn’t been found. That’s why my aunt lied. If Kira knows you have been serving Dorian for the past month and a half, she’ll make your life terrible. She always does this. You have a scholarship to protect. Your future. Just be careful okay“, he said

“I have no interest in him“, that was the truth

“She won’t care. You’re beautiful Sky, effortlessly and flawlessly beautiful and she sees

that as a threat” he said

When we got to the hospital we waited for a while. After the doctor checked my wound, he confirmed Miles Suspicion. I needed stiches. The whole process lasted all of an hour. We had just Gotten the medicine from the pharmacy when we saw Darla Walk in, she grabbed us and led us to a corner. She showed us to be quiet.

“Kira is here. I don’t know why but she is“. Darla said

“Well I’m here because I’m injured“, I said looking at them and walking towards the exit. I

heard them behind me.

“Wait for me Sky“, I heard Miles say.

“Darla why are you here“, I heard her. We turned around and Kira was standing there with a bodyguard. I looked at her.

“Ms. Edwards, I didn’t expect to see you here. I thought it was just a scratch, unfortunately the bleeding didn’t stop. So, we ended up here luckily, we did. I needed a few stiches“, I said raising my hand a showing her.
