“Very well, I’ll look into this“, Dean Giddens said. The idiot chose to speak. 

“It’s fine, as long as her grades are good that’s all that matters. I’ll take responsibility for it“? Dorian said looking at the Dean. I looked at him. 

“Very well. As it is, She’s the finest Zenith has ever sponsored. Even with a job she’s leading by far“, The Dean said. 

“Okay. She can stay off campus“, Dorian said. 

“Okay then Excuse nie for a minute. Ms. Raines kindly give me a moment I’ll be back”, Dean Giddens said standing up and walking out the door. Leaving me in the room with Sterling. I could feel him looking at me. 

“Why are you afraid of me“,? he asked, and I looked at him. His eyes were hidden by the sunglasses but when he turned I thought I saw a hint of green, and it bothered me. I looked at his neck, there weren’t any tattoos, nor was there a dark mark. I let out a sigh of relief. 

“Looking for something“? he asked smirking at me. Why the hell was he smirking. 

“I’m not afraid of you, I just don’t like you”, 

“Really“, he said standing up. He walked over to me. Jesus he was as tall as the demon. 

“So why don’t you look at me when I speak to you“, he said Quietly. 

“You were rude to me the first time you met me“, 

“Sorry, but you saw what happens to anyone that gets too close to me. They get hurt. I’m sorry by the way“. He said quietly and for a split second he sounded like Asher. I walked into him, he stood there looking at me, not moving. His cologne was different. I stepped back. 

“How tall are you‘? 

“Six five” he said in an amused tone.

“Why don’t you ever take your sunglasses off“? 

“Because my eyes unnerve People“. He said. He took the sunglasses off and I was left staring at him. His eyes were grey. 

“Wow“. 

“Do my eyes unnerve you“?, 

“No“. 

This was the first time I had a conversation with him and he managed to not act like an 

asshole to me. 

“He’s quiet possessive“, he said nodding at my neck 

“He is“. 

“He should be, if someone hadn’t already claimed you, I would have“, he said. 

As I was about to answer him, but the door opened and the Dean came in, he hurriedly 

wore the sunglasses. Mr. Giddens handed me a paper. I said thank you and left. Once outside I calmed my heart. What the fuck was that about. My phone rang making me jump. 

SKYLAR: yes Asher 

ASHER: Why do you look scared? 

I started looking around. 

SKYLAR: I’ll tell you later, right now I need a drink. I’m going out with Miles and Darla. 

ASHER: I know Sterling was in there. 

I froze, how does he know that? Was he spying on me. Did someone call him after I left?. 

Or was he really Dorian Sterling and he was good at hiding it?. 

ASHER: NO ONE BUT ME IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH YOU. The gay guy I let it slide because 

he’s your friend and gay. What did he say to you that has you like that?

SKYLAR: he.. Well.. How did you know what happened. 

ASHER: I’m always watching you. So what did he say to you? 

SKYLAR: I’ll speak to you later. 

ASHER: sky… 

I ended the call and got into the car and drove to the club. Miles wasn’t there but Darla was. I spoke to her and headed to Miles’s place. When I got there, he was cleaning. 

“I thought you ditched me for sexy man“, he said tossing a cushion at me. 

“Nope, as if. I’m here so we can go party.” 

“Now that’s what I wanna hear. Did you hear what happened“?, he asked 

“No what happened“? 

“Well. According to Maya and Daphne. You messed up Ivy’s life. Dorian hit her and well 

Emelda beat her up pretty badly for lying and making a fool of them. She’s in the hospital. 

Those two wenches went to visit her, and she lied saying you lied to The Sterling’s. They 

came to the club and started spreading rumors“. He said
