Chapter 4: The Owner of the World’s Most Expensive Car… Is Her?!
“Koenigsegg One! Only five exist in the entire world, each priced at a billion!” Charlotte, standing beside Olivia, was completely stunned, quickly pulling out her phone to snap a few photos.
A car of this caliber wasn’t something money alone could buy!
“Unbelievable… Absolutely unbelievable.”
Olivia was beyond annoyed at having the spotlight stolen from her. But even as the richest family in Radoca, the Rhodes family didn’t own a car like this. She couldn’t resist pulling out her phone and secretly taking a few pictures as well.
Not long after the luxury car passed by, the crowd was allowed to move forward toward the competition venue.
Having stood outside for too long, Olivia suddenly felt the need to use the restroom. She turned back toward the bathroom, with Charlotte accompanying her.
As they washed their hands, Charlotte couldn’t hold back her curiosity. “Olivia, is it true your brother divorced Pearl?”
“That commoner? Don’t ever mention her in the same breath as my brother again.” Olivia’s expression twisted with disgust.
So, it was true.

Charlotte’s family was distantly related to the Rhodes family, but even so, she only ever heard fragmented rumors -never anything confirmed.
If they were really divorced, didn’t that mean she had a chance with Caleb now?
Caleb was the most capable son of the Rhodes family, not to mention incredibly handsome. Just the thought of it made Charlotte’s heart race.
“Pearl must be miserable now that she’s left your brother.” Charlotte casually remarked.
Olivia scoffed. “She’s probably regretting the divorce every second of her life. Who knows which slum she’s crying in now?”
As they spoke, their gazes drifted toward the parking lot and there it was. The Koenigsegg One that had caused such a stir just moments ago!
Who could possibly be sitting inside?
Whoever owned a car like this had to be outrageously rich, and someone willing to spend this much on a car was definitely young.
Olivia’s heart skipped a beat.
If she could just “accidentally” bump into the owner… maybe something interesting would happen?
With that thought, she grabbed Charlotte’s hand and dashed toward the car.
Inside, Pearl was finishing a phone call. As she stepped out, she locked eyes with Olivia and Charlotte.

Olivia’s breath hitched.
“Pearl?! How the hell is it you?!”
The excitement Olivia had just felt instantly evaporated, replaced by shock far greater than before.
She never, not in her wildest dreams, would have imagined that the person inside that car… was Pearl.
“And why wouldn’t it be me?” Pearl’s face remained indifferent. She couldn’t be bothered with them and simply walked past.
Under normal circumstances, Olivia would have exploded with rage at Pearl’s blatant disregard. But right now, one thought dominated her mind–what was Pearl’s connection to this car?
If this car belonged to Pearl… what did that mean? That she was wealthier than the Rhodes family?
No. That was ridiculous.
Pearl was just a commoner. Back when she was part of the Rhodes family, she had always been submissive, allowing everyone to walk all over her–including Olivia.
“Maybe she’s just a cleaner. The real owner probably asked her to wash the car.” Charlotte speculated. As far as she knew, Pearl had no education, no skills–without the Rhodes family’s support, the most she could do was clean houses.
“Is that so?”
Just as Olivia was mulling over the possibility, she caught sight of Pearl handing a set of car keys to a man who looked like a chauffeur.

So… she really was just wiping down someone else’s car?
The moment Charlotte’s theory was confirmed, Olivia finally felt at case again.
“Damn you, Pearl!” In the very next second, she was furious all over again.
How dare Pearl mislead her like this? Just a lowly cleaner, yet she had given Olivia a moment of unnecessary distress!
Olivia had always enjoyed bullying Pearl, but this time, she would make her pay double for the humiliation she had just caused.
Striding over, she flung a set of keys straight at Pearl. “Hey, Pearl, I order you to clean my car. Right now!”
Pearl glanced at Olivia, her chin raised high in
arrogance, and then turned to Charlotte. “Is this woman brain–damaged? She can’t even tell where the car wash is?”
A few people nearby had already taken notice, and now, hearing Pearl’s words, some couldn’t hold back their laughter.
Not only had Pearl refused to obey, but she had humiliated Olivia in front of everyone.
Olivia’s face burned with rage. “You worthless piece of trash! No education, no skills–you should be grateful I even let you clean my car! How dare you talk back to me? Do you have a death wish?!”
With that, she raised her hand to slap Pearl.
“Miss!” A staff member quickly intervened, grabbing Olivia’s wrist. “You need to understand–she’s one of our invited judges, not a car washer!”

“A… judge?” Olivia froze in place.
Pearl… was here as a judge?
That useless nobody was going to evaluate her work?
“What a joke!” Olivia burst into laughter. “You must be insane, falling for her pretty face and helping her lie!”
Pearl was indeed stunning, the kind of beauty that captivated whether she was smiling or crying.
And that was precisely one of the reasons Olivia despised her.
The staff member’s face darkened at Olivia’s accusation, nearly calling security.
Pearl, however, had no interest in engaging further. Arguing with an idiot only brought one down to their level.
She simply smiled and said, “I’m looking forward to seeing just how talented this arrogant designer truly is.”
With that, she turned and walked away.
Olivia ground her teeth so hard they nearly cracked. “Keep acting all high and mighty! Just wait until I win that award
I’ll deal with you then!”
Grabbing her phone, she made a call. “Guard all the exits. I don’t care what it takes–until I’ve received my award, Pearl is not to leave this venue!”
Pearl dared to challenge her? Then she’d make sure Pearl left here utterly humiliated.
