The slap was so forceful that it sent Sarah crashing to the ground.
“Sarah, I was wondering why you’ve been so obedient lately, So you were just waiting for me here!”
Her face quickly swelled up, and blood even began to trickle from the corner of her mouth!
The buzzing sound in Sarah’s ears grew louder.
She could hear nothing, see nothing.
Trembling, she reached up to touch her face, and as her fingers grazed the red handprint, tears flooded her eyes uncontrollably.
This was the first time Daniel had ever slapped her.
Before she could even react, his figure had already vanished through the door.
Sarah took a deep breath, quickly rising to her feet, and chased after him.
She was afraid, afraid that Emily would end up causing the same tragic mistake as in her past life..

His voice was weak and trembling.

Reluctantly, the doctors rushed to get Emily into the operating room.

Looking around at the vast whiteness, Sarah gave a bitter laugh.
